We are BEYOND PROUD to present this short powerful piece on Mainstreet in Edson. A huge thank you to all the amazing businesses in our little town and a special thank you to Srvent, Edson’s own rap artist and professional videographer, who made this video so spectacular, heartfelt, and meaningful.

SHOP LOCAL CAMPAIGN The Edson and District Chamber of Commerce has received funding for the Federal Shop Local Campaign which will greatly help the ongoing effort to encourage patronage of our community businesses. We would like to thank the Federal Government and the Alberta Chamber of Commerce. Karen Spencer-Miller, President of the Edson and District Chamber of Commerce says, “the funding will help support projects such as the ‘Shop Local’ billboard, advertising events that will encourage our community to shop local such as the Art on Main, Night Owl sales, Light-Up sales, and state of the art video of some of the hospitality industry in our area”. We are also currently working on a video of Main Street highlighting what our businesses have to offer. We will be working with our local radio stations to get the word out about coming events to help bring people downtown to shop locally. Ken Kobly, Alberta Chamber of Commerce President and CEO states “We still have a long road ahead to rebuild our economy. This federal funding will help Chambers do what we do best: support local job creators”
